Fred Dixon, Richard Alam and the entire Blindside team have been a part of TheCodeFactory for 5 years now. As a long-time employee of TheCodeFactory I have the utmost respect for them as individuals and as a company. As a Carleton University student I was thrilled to see BigBlueButton (Blindside’s educational conferencing software) become Carleton’s choice of software. That in itself is undoubtedly an extremely impressive feat.

Blindside didn’t stop there though.

They were listed on the White House website as a Mozilla Ignite Challenge winner. Yes, you read that correctly. The White House website. This honour was extremely well deserved. BigBlueButton is working toward making high quality education available to people in remote areas by taking distance out of the equation. As the world continues to shift from physical classrooms to virtual ones the impact of this software is tremendous. Blindside is taking a huge step forward in making post-secondary education more accessible.

From everyone at TheCodeFactory, congratulations to Blindside Networks and all the best going forward!
